THERE'S only one Championship match capturing Danny Mercer (@OneDannyMercer) this Tuesday. But what's he backing?

Middlesbrough v Bolton | Tuesday 19:45

After their shocking defeat to Leeds on Saturday, I'm expecting Middlesbrough to bounce back here against Bolton. With the the Top 6 now separated by just six points it's imperative they do.

Before Saturday's loss, Aitor Karanka's side had been unbeaten in 12 home league games going back to August so I'd be surprised if we a similar slip-up.

Goals have been no problem at The Riverside either, as Boro have hit two or more in 10 of their 16 home league games, and with conceding liberally just now I expect them to have a fruitful night.

Let's talk about Bolton. They've lost four of their last six league games and have conceded 19 in that period. That's not ideal when you're coming up against the likes of Grant Leadbitter, Lee Tomlin and Patrick Bamford. All these players are scoring goals at the moment and should pose a real threat on Tuesday.

In four of Bolton's last five away league games they lost with both teams scoring and with Middlesbrough winning via that method in two of their last three home games I'm tempted by the 27/10 chalked up by Coral.

I was brought into the betting world from a young age when my parents asked me to pick out a few horses. I’ve been hooked since but only seriously started punting in the past four years. I’ve used my wealth of knowledge from the English game along with my passion for stats and trends to try to find that winning angle. I work hard but enjoy nothing more than studying the form in the hope of getting that extra edge, whether it be from the non-leagues or the Premier League. And if I can help anyone pocket a few quid, it makes the hard work even more worthwhile.
