LIVE League One action tonight on Sky Sports as Coventry host Swindon. What's the betting angle Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79)?

Coventry v Swindon | Monday 19:45 | Sky Sports 1

I get the impression it's not an exciting time to be a Coventry supporter at the moment. The Sky Blues are down in 18th in the League One table and haven't recorded back to back wins since the sunny days of September.

On Monday night, live on Sky, they host second place Swindon and are 5/2 with Bet365 to take the three points. That's not a price that appeals to me.

Coventry look a thoroughly uninspiring betting proposition at the moment. They haven't won at the Ricoh in the league since October and have fired blanks in three of their last four home matches.

Their results over the last few months look like a child's bedroom. A draw here, a loss there, a win somewhere under the bed. It's just incredibly untidy. In fact Coventry haven't recorded the same outcome in back to back matches since October!

The crucial stat for me relating to Steven Pressley's side is the fact that their last 10 matches all saw less than three goals. Under 2.5 Goals heaven! On five occasions the Sky Blues failed to notch.

What's interesting to note is that when Coventry fail to score it's usually against the top sides. They've had a big fat 0 next to their name against Bristol City (1st), MK Dons (3rd), Preston (4th), Chesterfield (7th) and Rochdale (8th). I think Swindon (2nd) could be added to that list tonight.

Mark Cooper's side are top of the away table with seven league wins in their last nine overall matches. Their last away loss came in November and although they'll be missing African Nations bound players Massimo Luongo and Yaser Kasim I think they'll be too smart for the Sky Blues.

My original plan was to back them just to win at 13/10 with BetVictor. That looks a solid bet if you keep in mind Coventry's poor record against these type of sides. But after looking at how Cov struggle to score against top teams I'm going to be a wee bit more adventurous and back them to win to nil at a chunky 14/5 with Coral.
