Scottish Football – Part-timers to come unstuck in basement battle, says Dino Vita

PRO PUNTER Dino Vita (@VitaDino) looks to continue his superb form in Scotland with his latest weekend NAP.

Alloa v Falkirk | Saturday 29th September 2018, 15:00

My selection this weekend comes from the basement battle at the bottom of the Scottish Championship as Alloa entertain Falkirk.

I’m siding with Falkirk in this one at 7/4 (BetVictor). Although they’ve lost all six league games so far, new manager Ray McKinnon has only been in charge for the last two and has seen signs of improvement in recent games.

The Bairns were 2-0 up at half-time in his first match against table-toppers Ayr before eventually losing 3-2, so there is a team in their, and I believe Falkirk will have more than enough to steer clear of relegation in the next few weeks.

Alloa haven’t had the best start themselves. Yet to win in the league this season, the hosts have picked up three draws.

The Wasps are the only part-time side in the division and have found it tough going against full-time clubs; the fact that Falkirk also play on a artificial surface won’t be one of the advantages they have over some sides this season.

It’s hard to make a claim for either side but I feel Falkirk will have that slight edge and get the win to kick-start their season.
