Champions League – Croatian kings to be singing the blues on Tuesday night

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE qualification continues on Tuesday night. Here Ross Casey (@RossCasey24) picks out his favourite fancies from the coupon.

PAOK v Basel | Tuesday 24th July 2018, 18:30

PAOK home matches tend to be high-scoring games with Over 2.5 Goals yielding a profit in nine of the Greek outfits last 10 as hosts. That will be music to ears of many punters backing the Salonika  side as Basel have been in terrible form.

The Swiss outfit had lost three friendlies on the spin, while conceding 11 goals in the process, before losing to St Gallen in their season opener. However, it isn't all bad news for them as going forward they remain a threat.

Both Teams To Score has landed in four of Basel's last five matches and I beleive that will be the case again on Tuesday night, seeing as PAOK have shipped at least once in each of their six warm-up fixtures.

So my selection for PAOK v Basel is Both Teams To Score at evens (Betfair) thanks to both sides looking susceptible at the back heading into this Champions League fixture.

Dinamo Zagreb v Hapoel Beer Sheva | Tuesday 24th July 2018, 19:oo

Hapoel Beer Sheva won their last round tie 7-2 on aggregate, but they have a horrible record when playing away from home in these later qualifying matches.

The Israeli champions conceded a total of eight goals against Celtic and Ludogorets on their travels  in their past two seasons, and despite Dinamo Zagreb not starting their season yet, you have to fancy the Croatians here.

Whilst you can't read too much into friendlies, the hosts are unbeaten in nine matches and have kept six clean sheets in their last seven matches at home.

I recommend backing a Dinamo Zagreb win here with 11/10 available from BetVictor.

I started out in the betting industry a little over six years ago, working for Easyodds where I was able to learn from the likes of Paul Jacobs and Simon Hopper. I became head football writer there before making it as editor and enjoy writing previews, finding interesting betting angles and comparing bookmaker odds to find the best bets. If you followed my work there, you will know my love of backing players to score against their former teams and backing goalkeepers that are winning against the odds to be booked in-play for time wasting. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I have been a Bristol City fan all my life, not just since we became famous for our GIFS. My favourite leagues to watch are all four English divisons although as a Robins fan I have only seen two leagues regularly throughout my lifetime live! I hope you enjoy my content on We Love Betting, let's hope we all make plenty of profit!
