THE Daily Record’s Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from Saturday’s Scottish football scene.
Hibs v Celtic | Saturday 21st April 2018, 12:30
This weekend has a strange feel to it at the top of the Premiership. Celtic will lift the title with a win but maybe they’ll prefer to wait until next week.
The SPFL were determined not to set up an Old Firm championship decider but it could still happen if the leaders fail to beat Hibs.
A trip to Easter Road is no gimme and Neil Lennon’s men have made it tough for the Hoops this season with two 2-2 draws, a 1-0 defeat at Celtic Park and a thrilling 4-2 loss in the Betfred Cup semi-final.
My head says Celtic will go out and put on a show but best bet for Easter Road could be goals – three out of four have gone Over 3.5 Goals.
Take Both Teams To Score and Over 2.5 Goals at 34/25 with Marathon.
Inverness v Dunfermline | Saturday 21st April 2018, 15:00
In the Championship, the big game is Inverness v Dunfermline with the home side needing a win to have a chance of sneaking late into the play-offs.
Both sides are in great form with ICT winning five in a row and the Pars four on the spin.
ICT have to go for it and the Pars won’t hang around either so there should be goals and Over 2.5 Goals is the call at 21/20 at Marathon.
Stenhousemuir v Montrose | Saturday 21st April 2018, 15:00
Montrose are three points clear of Peterhead at the top of League Two and needing four points from two games to seal the deal.
They could even clinch glory on Saturday if Peterhead slip up at Elgin. Montrose have won four in a row and look overpriced at 9/5 (Betfair) against a side who played midweek and need one win from three to clinch a play-off spot.
Montrose have won six of their last seven, and are unbeaten against Stenny this season with two wins and a draw.
Back the away side draw no bet at 13/12 with Unibet.
