Scottish Football – Hibs can continue their good run, Says Mr Fixit

THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) casts his eye over the weekend's Scottish football fixtures…

Ross County v Hibernian | Saturday 7th April 2018, 15:00

Hibs are right in the hunt to finish runners-up in their first season back in the top flight and can hit the heights in the Highlands.

Neil Lennon's side have won six out of eight and managed the last two without key man John McGinn who will return today.

County take credit from their superb display in midweek – a 4-0 rout of fellow stugglers Partick Thistle – but Hibs are far superior to the Jags and have lost just one of six visits to Dingwall.

Hibs have netted 2+ in seven of eight, with the only exception a 1-1 draw at St Johnstone where they had a men sent off early on, while County had conceded at least twice in four straight games until the Partick win.

Hibs, with midweek hat-trick hero Florian Kamberi in fine form, should be too strong so take them to score two or more at evens with Betway.

Airdie v Ayr | Saturday 7th April 2018, 15:00

Ayr are three points clear of Raith in the fight for the League One title and have the easier game today.

They are 3/5 at Marathonbet and I'm going for Ayr and over 2.5 goals at 5/4 with Ladbrokes.

That has landed in six of their last eight and Airdrie have seen over 2.5 in eight of their last nine, seven of which they've failed to win.

Cowdenbeath v Clyde | Saturday 7th April, 15:00

In League Two, Clyde still have play-offs hopes and can take the points at basement boys Cowden just a couple of weeks after a 3-0 success at Central Park.

Cowden have lost 10 of their 15 home games and are cut adrift 10 points behind second-bottom Berwick.

Clyde suffered a first defeat in seven last Saturday, losing 3-0 at high-flying Peterhead, but can bounce back at 22/25 with Marathon.

Airdrie v Ayr – Ayr to Win and Over 2.5 Goals (5/4 Ladbrokes)

Cowdenbeath v Clyde – Clyde to Win (22/25 Marathon Bet)
