Realistically it’s likely that Jose Mourinho will make changes with Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final in mind, despite denying claims he’ll rotate.

United were shocked by West Brom on Sunday and will have to up their game away at Bournemouth on Wednesday.

On each of the five occasions United have lost in the Premier League this season, they’ve bounced back with three-points immediately. However, they’ve conceded seven goals across their last four league away games, conceding first on each of those occasions. Given we associate Mourinho’s side with a solid defensive base, it’s fair to say they haven’t been at their best on the road of late.

Prior to Saturday’s defeat at Anfield, Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth had scored in 14-consecutive league matches. The Cherries are all but safe, and that arguably makes them dangerous. In a similar situation last season, they ended the campaign five-matches unbeaten.

Nine of their last ten have seen Over 2.5 goals, as have each of their last nine on home turf. With United likely to make changes from their regular, solid starting side, and Bournemouth able to approach this an open, pressure-free nature, we could be in for goals.

Over 2.5 goals is still available at 7/9 with 188BET, implying around a 56% chance. We have an edge here which suggests the probability is greater.
