THE Daily Record’s Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) casts his eye over the weekend’s Scottish football fixtures…
Dundee Utd v Inverness | Saturday 17th March 2018, 15:00
United’s title hopes in the Championship are hanging by a thread but they can keep the dream alive with victory over Caley Thistle.
The Tannadice men – 17 points behind leaders St Mirren but with three games in hand – halted a four-game winless run in the league with a 3-1 victory at Queen of the South on Tuesday night.
And despite their troubles they’ve got a strong record at home this season with eight wins in 11, including five in the last six.
Inverness have lost three in a row in the league – and four of five on the road – so go for United at evens with Marathon.
Dunfermline v Morton | Saturday 17th March 2018, 15:00
Also in the Championship, all three meetings of these two sides have brought up both to score this season and I’m backing a fourth.
Morton, who boast the second best away record in the division, have netted in 14 successive road games since an opening 0-0 draw at Dumbarton.
Dunfermline have had btts in nine of their 13 home matches and I’m taking both to score again at 10/11 with William Hill.
Annan v Clyde | Saturday 17th March 2018, 15:00
Clyde did the business again in midweek to make it seven wins in nine.
David Goodwillie took his tally to 11 in nine and can keep up his hot streak at Annan who’ve conceded 2+ in five of their last six.
