THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) casts his eye over the weekend's Scottish football fixtures, highlighting his best bets.

Hearts v Celtic | Sunday 17th December 2017, 12:30 | Sky Sports

Celtic's unbeaten run has hit 69 and while there have been some recent hiccups I can't see them being stopped by Hearts.

The Jambos have stopped the rot with wins against Well and Dundee but have lost 10 of the last 11 at home to the Hoops. All bar one of those losses have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

Celtic are 2/5 at Stan James but best bet is Celtic to win and Over 2.5 Goals at evens with Ladbrokes.

Queen of the South v Dundee United | Saturday 16th December 2017, 15:00

Queens put five past Dunfermline last weekend and can contribute to an overs game when Dundee United visit Palmerston.

Five of the Doomhamers' past six games have had at least three goals and United have netted five in their last three away days.

Go for Over 2.5 Goals at evens at Marathon.

East Fife v Ayr | Saturday 16th December 2017, 15:00

League One leaders Ayr's last four games have totalled 16 goals and East Fife's 15.

Their previous four meetings at New Bayview have totalled 21 goals so it looks set for another high scorer.

Take Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score at 5/6 with SkyBet.

Best Bets

Hearts v Celtic – Celtic to win and Over 2.5 Goals (1/1 Ladbrokes)

Queen of the South v Dundee United – Over 2.5 Goals (1/1 Marathon)

East Fife v Ayr – Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (5/6 SkyBet)
