Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs | Tuesday 00:30 | Sky Sports

We’re blessed this week with a nice AFC West matchup for this week’s Monday Night Football between the Chiefs and the Broncos.

Both teams are coming into this matchup having lost two straight games and will be looking to right the ship in this one.

Denver’s offence has been woeful in this losing streak, but their defence has still been playing at a very high level. Regardless as to how their offence does, I think they’ll be able to stifle the Chiefs and will be backing them to hold Kansas City to Under 24.5 points.

The Broncos only managed to put 10 points in their last two games and this has put their defence under a lot of pressure. Despite this, they only gave up 23 and 21 points in those two games.

Broncos defence to bombard the Chief's offence

You would hope that Denver can exploit Kansas City’s 29 the ranked defence and give their defence some rest, so they can attack the Chiefs.

When it comes to the Chiefs offence, they still rank third in yards per game (392.4) and second in points per game (29.6), but the only other time they have played a top defence was their loss to the Steelers two weeks ago.

Pittsburgh stifled QB Alex Smith and the rest of Kansas City’s offence, holding them to just 13 points and 274 yards. The only defence ranked better than Pittsburgh’s this season? Denver’s.

Given how pathetic they’ve been on offence I can’t back Denver to win here, but I do expect their defence to restrict Kansas City and hold them to a low total on Monday night.
