Inter Milan and Sampdoria are performing great so far in 2017/18. Tuesday night’s hosts are absolutely flying with seven victories and two draws, still unbeaten in their first nine matches under new coach Luciano Spalletti.

Sampdoria aren’t far behind having lost only one game and sitting comfortably in sixth spot with a game in-hand due to their postponed contest against Roma.

To be more analytical, Inter have gained more points than what they’ve truly deserved so far. In most of their victories, they did not emerge as the best team in the game, and that was the case against Roma, Crotone, Genoa, and also in their last-minute derby win.

Anyway, the Nerazzurri managed to keep Napoli at bay drawing 0-0 at the San Paolo, and this is something remarkable, especially given Napoli's strength this season. I am pretty sure Inter are serious candidates for a top-four placement, but I am happy to go against Spaletti’s side this midweek.

I think the odds are really too in favour of Inter and Sampdoria seem a little undervalued. Despite having lost their last away match 4-0, the Blucerchiati are in a fine form, having gained nine points in their last four matches, and last time they went to San Siro, they've managed to get a 2-1 win against Inter.

Odds seem really appealing for Samp in the Double Chance market (15/8 888) – simply asking the visitors to avoid defeat – whilst those searching for a solid selection can support Sampdoria with a +1.5 start on the Asian Handicap line at 13/19 (888).
