Serie A: Marco Di Cosmo thinks the Granata can grind out a win with goals aplenty

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Sunday selections.

Lazio v Sassuolo| Sunday 14:00

Lazio has been so consistent in recent times and they are serious contenders for a Champions League spot. They might not have the same depth as Milan’s clubs, but it is impossible not to recognize their solidity and some shining star as the Serbian Sergei Milinkovic Savic, which is going to be one of the most powerful talents in the European football, as said last season.

I simply ask Lazio to win here with a total of at least two goals scored in the game. Sassuolo has changed a lot and should not be trusted away at the Olimpico.

Torino v Verona | Sunday 14:00

Verona is performing as probably the most dreadful defence of the whole Serie A, with 14 goals conceded in six games, only Benevento did worst. That’s a very worrying stat when you face Torino on their home soil.

As I like to say, trust the Granata to score at the Olimpico is a must and I have no reason not to do it again here. When playing on their ground this season the Toro has scored 5 goals in two games, and I am really confident they could score more than two goals. Generally, their victory should not be discussed and I like them to win with over 2.5 goals total.

AC Milan v Roma | Sunday 17:00

Milan is facing a terrible moment with coach Vincenzo Montella really struggling to make this group some real team.

Their recent victories should not deceive, as they have faced very poor sides in Europe League, and their home win against Udinese and Cagliari were a bit fortunate and played far from exciting.

The Giallorossi instead have improved a lot after changing manager and some important players. They have some absentees but I reckon they have much more solidity and they will come out from San Siro with some points.

I don’t know whether it will be just one or three, that is why I am going to back them on the DNB market. Otherwise, you could back Roma to avoid defeat in multiple markets.

Atalanta v Juventus| Sunday 19:45

A Very interesting match between these two sides, with Atalanta having started the season as good as they’ve finished the previous one. Their Europe League campaign is amazing, as they’ve beaten Everton 3-0 and managed to get a draw in Lyon.

Juve will not have an easy trip to Bergamo. They might drop some points in this difficult away day, but it is always dangerous laying Juventus in domestic action. That is why I prefer to back the chances of the home side to score at least once here. That is happened in both of Juventus away match this season, against Genoa and Sassuolo who are very distant from the quality of Atalanta.

Back Juventus to concede in a BTTS bet should be the wisest option here.
