Serie A: Back the granata to play their part in Turin derby

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Saturday selections.

Napoli v Cagliari | Saturday 17:00 | BT Sport Europe

Napoli have found new chances for a UCL spot after Roma’s disastrous derby. The giallorossi are now only leading by one point and they have two difficult matches in the upcoming weeks against AC Milan and Juventus.

Napoli should exploit Cagliari’s difficulties without many struggles, especially considering their form in the second part of the season where they've been on par with Juventus with a point average of 2.43 per game.

Cagliari are safe from relegation and they have no particular worries to play for. Back Napoli to win and goals to flow as often happens in Napoli’s home matches.

Juventus v Torino | Saturday 19:45 | BT Sport Europe

Juve were absolutely merciless against Monaco in the UCL midweek and their form should provide them another victory in this derby.

This match could also give the bianconeri the victory of Scudetto, as if they win here and Roma do not do the same against AC Milan they would have the certainty of their 6th consecutive title.

Despite thinking a victory is very likely, I also take in consideration the midweek action that may have cost the side some mental and physical energy.

In UCL the bianconeri have kept a clean sheet for 600+ minutes, showing an obsessive attention for details and such an intensity that is probably not matched by any other European team.

Their intensity is not the same in domestic action, where their dominance has let them be more relaxed. In their last game they conceded two goals against Atalanta and I am confident Torino, who have an excellent scoring ratio, will be a threat here. Back the granata also to score in the Turin derby.
