Inter Milan v Sampdoria: Nerazzurri to edge high-scoring encounter

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Monday night bet from the San Siro.

Inter Milan v Sampdoria | Monday 19:45 | BT Sport

Inter will try to keep the same pace as Lazio, after the Biancocelesti won an important match in Sassuolo on Saturday, in the battle for European places in Serie A.

The Nerazzurri could cut the deficit to two points, and I do not think they will waste their opportunity here. On home soil, Inter have been an absolute machine in recent times; their defeat against Roma in February was the only time they’ve failed to win in their last 10 matches.

Especially, Inter’s last performance against Atalanta was really stunning, as they have been capable to thrash 7-1 a side who is credibly competing for a place in the top-five.

Scoring goals is a really easy task for Inter, who rely on the quality of their wingers supported by the Argentine international Ever Banega, who is in a top form. Incredibly, Mauro Icardi is not on the Argentina list but I rate him as one of the best number 9’s on the planet and he would love a goal against his former side.

I do not think Inter are going to have problems to win this match, but I still I rate Sampdoria capable to register at least once. The quality of their attack could easily cause problems against a fragile defence, who does not have very high rated defender, apart from Joao Miranda.

I expect a result of 3-1 or similar here, and that is why I suggest to back Over 2.5 Goals alongside an Inter Milan victory at odds of 5/6 (BetStars).
