Scottish Football: Blue Brazil susceptible to in-form Elgin, says Dino Vita

PRO PUNTER Dino Vita's (@VitaDino) chasing a 10th Scottish NAP in 11 weeks. Will his good form continue here?

Cowdenbeath v Elgin | Saturday 15:00

My selection this week comes from Scotland’s League Two as basement boys Cowdenbeath host promotion-chasing Elgin.

Cowdenbeath were many people's favourites for promotion this season (including myself) but how wrong could I be. The Blue Brazil are in great danger of a triple relegation this season if things don't improve soon!

Cowden have lost six of their last seven games with their only win coming back in December.

Elgin sit in third and although the league looks out of their grasp, they are perfectly poised for a second straight season in the play-offs.

Elgin have been in fine for in recent weeks; the visitors have won their last three league games and have only lost once in their last seven (W5-D1-L1).

The guest held on to to star striker Shane Sutherland in the transfer window – he's the top scorer in the division and has hit six goals in his last three outings.

Elgin have beaten Cowden twice already this season and I fully expect them to make it three out of three on Saturday at 5/4 quotes with Betfair.
