Motherwell v Hearts | Saturday 12:15 | BT Sport 1
Hearts shocked most people by routing Rangers 4-1 on Wednesday although they were given a huge helping hand by their opponents.
Ian Cathro’s confidence will be boosted but his side face a tough lunchtime trip to Motherwell who got back on track with a 2-1 win at Ross County.
The Jambos game was wide open and Well have two attackers, Louis Moult and Scott McDonald, who are in good scoring form.
There should be goals here – both meetings this season have gone Over 2.5 – and a third in a row pays 3/4 at 888.
Aberdeen v Partick | Saturday 15:00
Aberdeen’s run of five straight wins not surprisingly ended at Celtic Park in Wednesday and on the same night the Jags went down 1-0 at home to St Johnstone.
The Dons have beaten their rivals 2-1 twice this season and that goal at Pittodrie in August was the Jags’ first there in five visits although two finished 0-0.
Aberdeen are 3/5 for victory and I fancy them to win ‘to nil’ at 8/5 with Paddy Power against a Thistle side who lack a cutting edge and who have failed to score in their last three league games.
Queen of the South v Morton | Saturday 15:00
Morton blew away Ayr 4-1 last week and won 5-0 at Palmerston earlier in the season.
They can make it five wins in a row when they return to QoS and Ladbrokes go 21/10.
Queens have failed to win their last five at home and the visitors should be too strong but I’ll play slightly safe by taking Morton draw no bet at decent odds of 123/100 at Marathon.
Motherwell v Hearts – Over 2.5 Goals (3/4 888)
Aberdeen v Partick – Aberdeen to won ‘to nil’ (8/5 Paddy Power)
Queen of the South v Morton – Morton draw no bet (123/100 Marathon)
