PRO PUNTER Dino Vita's (@VitaDino) chasing a ninth successive Scottish NAP success. Will his good form continue here?

Alloa v Dunfermline | Saturday 15:00

My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Cup as Dunfermline travel to Alloa in the 4th Round on Saturday.

I'm backing Dunfermline at a generous 6/5 (BetVictor) – generous odds for one of the form sides in 2017. It looks a tasty price.

Pars looking up

The Pars have turned their season around in the last few months and rather than looking at the relegation play-offs, Athletic are within striking distance of the promotion play-offs in the Championship.

Dunfermline are in fifth after a run of nine games unbeaten in league and cup action, a spell that stretches back to mid-November (W5-D4-L0).

Alloa a fading a force

Alloa sit second in League One but are nine points off table-topping Livingston and after a promising start to the season they've faded in recent months.

Losing manager Jack Ross in October was a massive blow to the Wasps and results haven't been great since Jim Goodwin took charge, especially at home.

Alloa have only won one of their last eight at Recreation Park since Goodwin arrived, and are now winless in four as hosts.

I'm hoping that Dunfermline will use their full-time status to their advantage and continue their unbeaten run by progressing to the next round of the cup with a victory.
