Scottish Football: Runaway Bhoys keep on rolling, says Mr Fixit

THE DAILY RECORD'S Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.

St Johnstone v Motherwell | Saturday 15:00

The title may be over but there's plenty to keep fans interested in the Premiership.

Just four points separate sixth-place Killie from basement boys Partick Thistle so any of those seven sides could finish bottom.

It's tightly bunched and teams are evenly matched and it makes it difficult for punters to make calls – last weekend for example there were four draws including three 0-0s.

One side who have joined the top-five breakaway are St Johnstone and stats suggest they'll beat Motherwell at home today. Saints dominate the head to head with six wins in a row against the Fir Park men in Perth.

Tommy Wright's men are in good form with just one loss in four including draws against Aberdeen and Hearts.

Last time out at McDiarmid they were dominant in 3-0 defeat of Inverness and I'm on them at 41/50 with Marathon.

Celtic v Dundee | Saturday 15:00

Celtic are no bigger than 2/15 at Ladbrokes to make it 20 domestic wins in a row against Dundee.

Brendan Rodgers's side were flat in a midweek 1-0 victory against Accies and fans will hope for a better display.

Dundee will go to Celtic Park and also park the bus and best bet is the Hoops to win to nil – which has trapped in their last three at home in the league – 4/5 with Ladbrokes.

The Dens men have netted just once in six visits to the East End of Glasgow and have drawn a blank in their last two outings against Ross County and Killie.

Raith v Dundee Utd | Saturday 15:00

Hibs and Dundee United are locked in a fight for the Championship and United could move clear this weekend.

Ray McKinnon visits his old Raith club who have just played the bottom four and failed to win any, scoring just once in the process.

United haven't conceded in five games – winning four of them 1-0 – and are on a cracking unbeaten run of seven wins in eight outings.

Take the in-form away side to edge this one at 27/25 with Marathon.

Best Bets

St Johnstone v Motherwell – St Johnstone to win (41/50 Marathon)

Celtic v Dundee – Celtic to win ‘to nil’ (4/5 Ladbrokes)

Raith v Dundee Utd – Dundee Utd to win (27/25 Marathon)
