ROME resident Marco Di Cosmo (@Scioltz) runs the rule over Monday’s Serie A clash between Fiorentina and Sassuolo.
Fiorentina v Sassuolo | Monday 18:00 | BT Sport
The opening match on Monday between Fiorentina and Sassuolo should be a well-balanced match between two teams who are performing far worse than least season.
We’ve said that Sassuolo have concentrated much of their energies on the Europa League, and this has proved costly for such a small team.
Fiorentina instead are facing difficulties in terms of both results and quality of their game. They were praised as one of the best teams in the league last season but they are struggling this time around, managing to win only three games on their home ground.
I don’t expect La Viola to win this encounter easily and I prefer to back the visitors to register a goal here, with Sassuolo happy to concede while also being dangerous on their travels.
The Neroverdi are among the best attacks when playing away from home, while also having the third-worst defence in the league – that is why I see goals coming at both ends and will back Both Teams To Score at 4/5 (Bwin).
