Serie A: Back the granata to grind out three points

THE king of Italian tipping Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) returns with more picks this Sunday.

Sampdoria v Sassuolo | Sunday 11:30 | BT Sport 2

Goals-based bets are probably the best choice when Sassuolo are playing, especially if you consider their recent form where they have registered Over 2.5 Goals or BTTS in their last nine matches.

Their approach does not change from Serie A to Europa League, although some injuries are affecting their performances.

Despite missing some key players such as Domenico Berardi, I still like their chances to be dangerous at Marassi where Sampdoria have only registered a clean sheet in theur last match after 7 consecutive games in which they conceded at least one goal.

I expect some entertaining in this match and I’m happy to side again with Both Teams To Score.

Atalanta v Roma | Sunday 14:00 | BT Sport Europe

This is a key match for Roma at Bergamo against a hard Atalanta side who are performing incredibly well so far. I admire a lot about Gianpiero Gasperini. His style is inspiring and the way he has designed Atalanta to compete while also showing quality football should be respected.

I am very curious to see how this style plays out against Roma who never refuse a goal battle and the opportunity to open fire with all their attacking threats.

This team have produced a total of 29 goals, reflecting an offensive approach that has been a problem for most of the teams they've encountered so far.

I expect another open match here, and as Roma are clear favorites I prefer to side with the goals here, as the giallorossi are very likely to concede at least once away from home. It's Over 2.5 Goals for me.

Crotone v Torino | Sunday 14:00 | Setanta Ireland

Crotone have recently turned their fortunes getting a lucky draw in Florence, and a solid win against Chievo. Still, I do not expect them to finish better than in the last two positions in the table, and I think they will struggle when they host Torino on Sunday.

The granata have finally found their way after a dodgy start and in the last nine matches they’ve lost only once against Inter Milan at San Siro. Their record consists of many goals scored and big scalps like home win against Fiorentina and Roma.

I do believe they can score easily here and I'll keep it simple and back them to record a win.

Best Bets

Sampdoria v Sassuolo – Both Teams To Score (10/13 188BET)

Atalanta v Roma – Over 2.5 Goals (13/19 188BET)

Crotone v Torino – Torino to win (5/6 Bet Stars)
