GRAEME Johnston (@GraemeJ_83) returns with his best bet for Saturday's racing.

15:15 Kempton | Channel 4

The Sirena Stakes is a Group 3 over six furlongs and this small field looks between two runners here with one looking a great bet to me.

Koropick comes from the Hugo Palmer yard and won his sole start in great style. He looked very talented that day and looks sure to win more races however this is a big step up in class. I'm not sure how much depth their was to the maiden he won and despite the undoubted potential he has at the prices I'm against him.

Smokey Lane and Unabated have solid levels of form to their names but again look up against it here. They have both fallen short when stepped up in grade and once again they look out of their depth here.

The Last Lion has been remarkably consistent since winning the Brocklesby on debut and brings a really good level of form in to this race. He's been runner up three times at Group level and he's a good benchmark here. Koropick would have to be very good to win this and I think the extra distance will help The Last Lion too. I make him a confident selection to win this.

15:15 Kempton – The Last Lion to win (7/4 Paddy Power)

About Author

I grew up watching Hearts games with my dad and playing football at every opportunity so betting on it was the logical next step! Football coupons became a Saturday ritual and it introduced me into the world of horse racing. I started watching it on a regular basis, and after Galileo's Derby win in 2001 I was hooked. I follow both flat and national hunt racing attending the northern meetings when possible.
