A fabulous 2/3 winners for Gavin Horsfall’s (@GHorsfall) Anytime Notebook last weekend including a huge 9/1 shot. Can he repeat the feat this weekend?

Crewe v Peterborough | Saturday 15.00

An indifferent performance from Peterborough last week but it says something about their attacking prowess that they still scored two to beat an improving Fleetwood side.

Jermaine Anderson (19/5 Stan James) has been the recent beneficiary of Graham Westley’s positive influence at London Road and while backing a player that has scored three in three is asking for trouble, he’s not nearly short enough to avoid making the Notebook this weekend.

Anderson slots in to an advanced role behind a front-two and can get further joy against a Crewe side that have won once at home all season.

Dagenham & Redbridge v Oxford | Saturday 15.00

Lots of positives for Dagenham to take from their 4-2 win at Morecambe in midweek – a first victory in eight as well as ending a run of three games without a goal.

The addition of Kyle Vassell (3/1 Bet365) gives Wayne Burnett an added threat up front and makes them a different proposition when they face an Oxford side that won an JPT tie at Dagenham just a 10 days ago.

Injuries have halted Vassell’s good start to life in a Peterborough shirt last season (scored five in eight) but Dagenham looks a good place to get back on track; the added incentive of playing against an Oxford side he played a handful of games for last year looks in our favour too.

Newport v Yeovil | Saturday 15.00

Yeovil have arguably been unlucky to only pick up a point or two from some attacking displays in recent weeks, unlucky I guess that they run into a Newport side that are now six unbeaten under John Sheridan but we’re not interested in who wins here.

Sheridan’s side have conceded in five of those six games and in Harry Cornick (9/2 Bet365) Yeovil carry a decent threat from midfield.

Winger Cornick, on loan from Bournemouth, has three in three and has been easily the least shot-shy of Yeovil’s forwards in this recent run.

Best Bets

Crewe v Peterborough – Jermaine Anderson to score at anytime (19/5 Stan James)

Dagenham & Redbridge v Oxford – Kyle Vassell to score at anytime (3/1 Bet365)

Newport v Yeovil – Harry Cornick to score at anytime (9/2 Bet365)
