MANCHESTER City face another tough Champions League test on Wednesday against Sevilla. Will they pick up the three points Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79)?

It's never easy for Man City in the Champions League eh? After losing to Juventus at home and winning at Borussia Monchengladbach they now face the might of Sevilla at the Etihad on Wednesday.

That's a Sevilla side who've won back to back Europa League titles and been one of the most consistent sides in Europe over the last decade. The Champions League though is a marked step up from the old UEFA Cup and the Spanish side have already lost to Juventus in the group.

Maunel Pellegrini's side have been a real puzzle this season with enthralling wins (6-1 v Newcastle, 5-1 v Bournemouth) mixed in with perplexing defeats (1-4 v Spurs, 1-2 v West Ham). Three wins in a row though in matches in both the Premier League and Champions League bode well though,

Injuries are a key area that will hurt City in this match. Sergio Aguero and David Silva are both absent from this game and when that happens in the Champions League it usually doesn't bode well.

To be fair though we saw City smash five past Bournemouth on Saturday without Aguero and let's not forget they secured knockout stage qualification last year against Roma without the wee Argentinian on the park.

One thing that's worth bringing up is City's sloppy home form in the Champions League. They've won just three of their last 10 home games in this competition and it's fair to say the atmosphere never quite comes alive in these European nights.

That would put me off backing them at odds of 7/10 on Wednesday night and on top of that Sevilla seem to be hitting form after a disappointing start to the season. Two wins in their last three La Liga games include the scalp of the mighty Barcelona.

One sensational stat that has to be respected is the fact that Man City have conceded in 16 of their last 17 Champions League matches. Horrific stuff. That's enough for me to believe in goals.

I got my fingers burned with this bet on the Arsenal game on Tuesday but I'm going in again and backing Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score at evens.
