SKY SPORTS cricket man Joe Drabble (@Joe_Drabs) has found a few tasty bets to be aware of for South Africa’s clash with UAE in the early hours of Thursday.
South Africa v UAE | Thursday 01.00 | Sky Sports 2
After defeats to India and Pakistan during the group stages, it’s fair to say that South Africa have endured a less comfortable start to the World Cup than most people had predicted.
The UAE should pose very few problems, though, and the Proteas will want to make a statement to ensure they finish second in Group B. Playing in Wellington, a ground which has been helpful for swing bowlers during the tournament, I fully expect South Africa to blow UAE away with the ball.
The associate nation have struggled with the bat, scoring just 102 and 210 in their last two matches and face one of the best bowling attacks in the competition.
In contrast, Dale Steyn has improved game by game and is 4/1 (Stan James) to be the Top Bowler and another price which stands out is the 6/4 (Sportingbet) for there to be Over 1.5 Ducks in the match.
Elsewhere, Imran Tahir should be too tricky for the UAE tail and is 17/20 (Betway) to take Over 1.5 Wickets.
South Africa v UAE – Dale Steyn to be Top Bowler (4/1 Stan James)
South Africa v UAE – Imran Tahir to take Over 1.5 Wickets (17/20 Betway)
South Africa v UAE – Over 1.5 Ducks (6/4 Sportingbet)
