DANNY Mercer (@OneDannyMercer) returns to the WeLoveBetting top table this weekend to take a look at this massive League One clash.

MK Dons v Bristol City | Saturday 15:00

What a massive game we have in League One this weekend between leaders Bristol City and second place MK Dons. My initial gut feel is that goals looks a must in this game with the Dons hitting 59 in the league already this season while City have notched just nine fewer.

Both sides have firepower all over the pitch, with explosive frontmen supplemented by players who can create something out of nothing from the midfield.

Karl Robinson’s side have scored 36 goals at home in the league and put two past Bristol City earlier in the season. I can imagine the likes of Delle Ali, Devante Cole, Daniel Powell and Dean Bowditch will be licking their lips in anticipation of this massive match.

Steve Cotterill’s side will be pumped for this too. They scored three against MK earlier in the campaign and have hit two or more in 18 of their 26 league games this season.

Just sit back and think about the attacking prowess they have within their grasp – Joe Bryan, JET,  Kieran Agard, Korey Smith…I could go on! When you also factor in how attacking their full-backs are, they’re going to cause MK Dons a lot of problems.

Yes, MK have kept five clean sheets in their last six league games, but they love to attack and if they are too open, City will seriously make them pay.

It’s natural to assume that the intensity levels will rise as the match progresses so I’m expecting fireworks in the second half.

The Both Teams To Score In The Second Half bet landed when these sides met earlier in the season and with so much at stake it looks value at 12/5 to happen again with 888 Sport. That’s my bet here.

I was brought into the betting world from a young age when my parents asked me to pick out a few horses. I’ve been hooked since but only seriously started punting in the past four years. I’ve used my wealth of knowledge from the English game along with my passion for stats and trends to try to find that winning angle. I work hard but enjoy nothing more than studying the form in the hope of getting that extra edge, whether it be from the non-leagues or the Premier League. And if I can help anyone pocket a few quid, it makes the hard work even more worthwhile.
