CHELSEA look to build on their seven point lead in the Premier League when they take on Everton this Wednesday. How does Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) see the game going?

What looked an exciting title race during Christmas has turned into a likely procession for Chelsea now. Seven points clear with their main rivals Manchester City taking just three points from their last 12 available, it's no surprise to see Jose Mourinho's side as short as 1/11 with Ladbrokes to win the title.

One of the sides City have stumbled against in this run is Everton and they're Chelsea's opponents on Wednesday. Will Chelsea get more joy out of them? Almost certainly yeah.

You don't need me to tell you it's been a disappointing season for Roberto Martinez's side. Down in 12th place in the league and 18 points off a Champions League place, this wasn't in the plans in August.

There's just a suspicion though that things are improving. They're unbeaten in six matches now, been the only side to beat Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace side and took a point against in-form Liverpool at the weekend.

And after leaking so many goals at the start of the season (16 in their opening seven league matches) things have started to settle down with just one conceded in their last four Premier League encounters.

Don't worry though, they'll be in for a rough ride on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have an outstanding home record this season in the league. P11 W10 D1 L0 F25 A4 is hugely impressive and I can't see Everton challenging that.

Eight of Chelsea's 11 home wins were wins to nil and at 23/20 with BetVictor that looks a decent bet. But I'll be a little more conservative and back exactly two or three goals in this match at 11/10 with the same firm. That will cover me if Everton manage to nick a goal here as I can't see Chelsea going on the rampage.

Incredibly that bet has paid out in 10 of Chelsea's 11 home league games this season and in 17 of their last 20 league games. Pretty strong stats for an odds-against bet eh?

  1. Why do you delete the tips from yesterday when they lose??? embarrassed or what?? Good shout with the arsenal win and btts though. Midweek games always seems to be dodgy, especially in the football league.
