THE NFL season climaxes with the Super Bowl from Arizona. American Football nut Louis Ross (@KingLouis2105) takes us through the best betting opportunities from Sunday night.

Seattle Seahawks v New England Patriots | Sunday 23.30 | Channel 4

It’s here! Finally, after one of the most entertaining seasons the NFL has known, we’re down to the decider. And thankfully, we have the two best teams of this and any recent season on display.

I don’t think I’ve ever known a closer Super Bowl match-up. NFL.com are reporting that in 50,000 game simulations, 50.5% were won by New England and 49.5% by Seattle. In a game this close, you really have to go with your gut feeling.

Having had two weeks to write this piece, I started off changing my mind on an almost daily basis. But I’m comfortable with the fact that for the last seven days, I’ve been set on the Patriots. So I’m going to stick with them and here’s the reason why…

Tom Brady.

It really is that simple. In a game where both sides are so closely matched in almost every position, having the games greatest ever quarterback is reason enough to say I think the Pats will win in an incredibly close game.

Brady has been incredible in the post-season; twice hauling his team back from 14-point deficits against Baltimore and then in what looked a difficult Championship game against Andrew Luck and the Colts, he took this team to another level!

This isn’t a game to get heavily involved on Points Spreads at 5/6. But I do think we can have some fun with an array of great value bets…

Most Valuable Player is normally won by the winning QB but with Tom Brady at 9/4, I would rather have a small interest in a couple of other Patriots players. A follower on Twitter mentioned Devin McCourty on the defence for New England at a huge 200/1(Ladbrokes). Personally, I like Danny Amendola at 250/1(Ladbrokes). For those wanting a little bit of value on more fancied types, Julian Edelman at 28/1(Ladbrokes) stands out.

In fact, Amendola is great value at 4/1(Bet Victor) for a Touchdown at Anytime. I‘ve not really mentioned Seattle yet but another stand out value bet is a Russell Wilson to score a Touchdown at Anytime at 2/1 with William Hill.

Seattle will certainly rely on Marshawn Lynch for the hard yards and I like him to pick up more than the 88.5 yards. That can be backed at 10/11 (William Hill).

I am going to take New England to win this game. I believe their incredibly underrated defence can get to Russell Wilson in the same way Green Bay did two weeks ago.

The difference is New England, won’t be kicking field goals from the one-yard line. They will punch it in with LeGarret Blount and for that reason my bet of the day is Blount to score 2 or more Touchdowns at 9/1. That’s a great price with Bet365.

Best Bets

Super Bowl XLIX – Danny Amendola MVP (250/1 Ladbrokes)

Super Bowl XLIX – Marshawn Lynch +88.5 Rushing Yards (10/11 William Hill)

Super Bowl XLIX – Danny Amendola Anytime Touchdown (4/1 BetVictor)

Super Bowl XLIX – LeGarrett Blount to score 2 or more Touchdowns (9/1 Bet365)
