Premier League Asian Handicap Tips | 2nd-3rd December 2014

TWO out of three for Dark Dyson (@darkdyson) at the weekend. What's our Asian Handicap man got up his sleeve this midweek?

Manchester United v Stoke | Tuesday 19:45

I don’t think I’ve tipped up my own team yet but with good reason, as Manchester United are hard to trust as they continue to rebuild under Louis Van Gaal. However, playing at home against Stoke at a value price, is a rare opportunity not to be missed.

Despite their troubles United are fourth in the league and have lost just one match in eight. Plus, they are on a run of five wins and a draw from six at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Stoke lost at Liverpool on Saturday and have lost six straight at Old Trafford. I’m more than happy to take Manchester United -1.25 at 43/40 with Bet365, as I expect the Red Devils good form to continue.

Arsenal v Southampton | Wednesday 19:45 | BT Sport 1

As predicted all season, Southampton are slipping as their schedule gets tougher and although they can’t become a bad team overnight, a trip to the Emirates is far from ideal after the 3-0 loss at home to Man City.

Arsenal are not at their fluid best at the moment but with Laurent Koscielny back in the defence and a vital win last time out, this is a great chance to close the gap on the teams above them.

Arsenal have a great record against teams like Southampton and with some tasty value on the home jolly, I can’t avoid backing Arsenal -0.75 at 17/16 with BetVictor when even a Gunners win by one returns a profit.

Sunderland v Manchester City | Wednesday 19:45

Similar to my (Twitter) picks of Aston Villa and Sunderland over the last two weeks, this pick is based more on the huge value available than anything else.

However, with Sunderland now unbeaten in four and with only two goals conceded in that period, there’s some logic in taking on the champions this week. Manchester City have been very good away from home, indeed we profited from that form on Sunday but their record against Sunderland leaves a lot to be desired.

City have managed just a single point from the last three against the Black Cats and with Vincent Kompany injured, it could be another tricky match for the Citizens.

I’m taking Sunderland +1 at 9/8 with BetVictor where even defeat by one gets our stake back.

Manchester United v Stoke – Manchester United -1.25 (43/40 Bet365)

Arsenal v Southampton – Arsenal -0.75 (17/16 BetVictor)

Sunderland v Manchester City – Sunderland +1 (9/8 BetVictor)
